​Kim, an American scholar, educator, and religious leader, has held various leadership roles, including Dean of Harvard Business School, President of BYU-Idaho, and Commissioner of Church Education for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In his book Leading Through: Activating the Soul, Heart, and Mind of Leadership, co-authored with his daughter Erin and son Jonathan, they advocate for a shift from traditional leadership models of control to those that inspire and empower. They emphasize how outdated methods stifle innovation, promoting instead a leadership style that fosters care, problem solving, and positive change.

​​Hosted by Bloom, the head of the social impact chapter at Silicon Slopes, this event is designed for leaders and executives to hear thoughts and stories related to people-focused, impactful leadership.
