June is Men’s Mental Health Month—and we’re teaming up with our partners at I Love You Bro for a powerful, honest conversation about the mental health challenges men face, and how we can support them and ourselves.
Brandy Vega, Founder of Promise2Live, will kick off the event with a short message, honoring the men we've lost through our Names Behind the Numbers initiative, and reminding us of the power of a Promise to Live—for ourselves and the people we love.
This Month’s Focus: The Questions Men Aren’t Asking Out Loud
Jason Clawson, MA, CMHC – “Do I need help? Why should I get it?”
Jason is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and grief advocate with over 17 years of experience. After losing his wife to cancer, Jason turned pain into purpose by co-creating Light After Grief and The Hope Kit. He now helps men realize it’s not weakness to seek help—it’s strength. Jason serves as Board Clinician for the I Love You Bro Project.
Emilee Krupa, LMFT, SUDC – “How do I help someone I love? What if they don’t want it?”
Emilee is a trauma-informed therapist and founder of Koru Wellness. She specializes in relationships, substance use, and experiential healing modalities including ketamine-assisted therapy. Emilee leads I Love You Sis, the women’s mental health support program under the I Love You Bro Project.
Joe Tuia'ana – “What help is out there? What does it look like?”
Joe is the Founder and CEO of the I Love You Bro Project, the only organization in the U.S. solely focused on men’s mental health and suicide prevention. After loving a man off a literal ledge while battling his own demons, Joe made it his life’s work to create safe, judgment-free spaces for men to be seen, heard, and loved. His work has grown into a movement with multiple support groups, workshops, and social connection activities across Utah.
